Using Czechoslovakian glass beads, Mayan women craft each earring by hand. They coordinate with our Princesa Beaded Necklace and Princesa Beaded Bracelet.  2" long.  Stainless steel

Artist's Story:

Women artisans from the highlands of Guatemala use traditional beading techniques to create this elegant jewelry. These indigenous women are among the most economically disadvantaged residents of Guatemala. They work under strict fair trade conditions, meaning their wages are 3-5 times higher than average in their economy, their work environment is safe and pleasant, and they receive health care and skills training.

    I love these earrings! The combination of colors of the beads are eye catching and fun to wear. The craftsmanship is excellent. I would recommend these earrings to everyone. I look forward to wearing them in the years to come.
