These scarves are hand woven by a fair trade women's cooperative located in eastern Thailand. The group that works with the cooperative aims to further develop their traditional skills and to collaborate with them to expand those skills in order to craft products that appeal to the contemporary fashion market.

The company subscribes to the Fair Trade business model, working only with groups which allow it to visit and observe the products being made, guaranteeing safe working conditions and appropriate living wages for all members, and that child labor is strictly prohibited.
